We are happy to share the spring 2024 edition of the AANS/CNS Section on Tumors Newsletter. We appreciate the subcommittee members for participating in updating our membership on the Tumor Section and look forward to fruition of many of these efforts. This year’s AANS Annual Meeting theme is What Matters. In an era of rising health care costs, patient access to comprehensive neuro-oncological care, biomedical innovation challenges and the rising crisis of physician burnout, the Section on Tumors leadership continues to address these issues and much more. What Matters is to address these critically important issues and much more through the strengths of collaboration, education and solidarity. It is quite fitting that the Tumor Section, established in the Spring of 1984, is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the 2024 AANS Annual Meeting, paving the road to advance the discipline to new heights. We look forward to recognizing the achievements of the Section on Tumors and its membership to date and are excited about what the next decades will bring!
