CNS/SNO Virtual Brain Tumor Board

The Society of NeuroOncology and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, in collaboration with the Tumor Section and The Neurosurgical Atlas, have produced a Virtual Brain Tumor Board conference series. This multidisciplinary conference, involving neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, neuropathologists and other specialists, features world leaders in the field discussing complex neuro-oncology cases submitted and presented by our joint membership.  This conference is held quarterly and topics rotate to address the various disease processes.

To date, we have held four interesting and provocative sessions discussing high-grade gliomas, low grade gliomas, metastatic brain tumors and anterior skull-base tumors.  With a world-class multidisciplinary faculty, various case-based facets of neuro-oncological care was discussed, expanding the attendees’ understanding of these complex disease processes.  This virtual format, while introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, will remain as an enduring content available for the membership to utilize moving forward.

Tumor Section members are encouraged to submit their cases to be considered for discussion. We look forward to your engagement and stimulating neuro-oncological discussion. For more information visit cns.org/onlineed.
