Our major goal is to advocate for greater interest in spinal oncology and advancement in the treatment and prevention through research. To achieve these goals, we seek funding opportunities for abstract awards for spine oncology for the Tumor Section during the AANS and the CNS annual meetings. We have thus far secured funds for one award from Globus for 2023 at both AANS and CNS meetings. Our ultimate goal is two awards per meeting for best spine oncology abstract. We also had a great spine oncology session at SNO this past November and we hope to continue these sessions next year.
