WINS Medical Student Social Events
The WINS MSC hosted a virtual social hour focused on networking and mentorship. Over 50 participants attended this event from medical schools within and outside the United States. The Medical Student Committee’s Co-president (Alexandra “Sasha” White) and Social Media Chair (Tamia Potter) gave a talk on the foundations of the mentor-mentee relationship and how best to succeed in finding a great mentor. Students were then allowed to enter breakout rooms to network with one another and share their experiences, give advice, and connect about their journey to neurosurgery.
