With the 30th Anniversary of WINS, we offer a look back at previous WINS publications throughout the years, focusing on the book, “Heart of a Lion, Hands of a Woman: What Women Neurosurgeons Do,” which was undertaken as a celebration of WINS’ 20th anniversary and was published by the AANS in September 2009. It is a timeless and inspiring read detailing memoirs/essays and artwork that provide insights into the lives of women neurosurgeons.
