CNS/SNO Virtual Brain Tumor Board

The Society of NeuroOncology and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, in collaboration with the Tumor Section and the Neurosurgical Atlas, have produced a Virtual Brain Tumor Board conference series. This multidisciplinary conference, involving neurosurgeons, neuro-oncologists, radiation oncologists, neuropathologists and other specialists, features world leaders in the field discussing complex neuro-oncology cases submitted and presented by the joint membership. This conference is held quarterly and topics rotate to address various disease processes, such as glioblastoma, low grade glioma, metastatic brain tumors, skull-base tumors, etc … We hope that this multidisciplinary discussion will broaden the memberships’ understanding of treatment of these tumors. This virtual format, while introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic, will remain as an enduring content available for the membership to utilize moving forward.

The next Virtual Brain Tumor Board is on the topic of low grade gliomas and will be held in March, the final date is pending. Tumor Section members are encouraged to submit cases to be considered for discussion. We look forward to your engagement and stimulating neuro-oncological discussion. For more information visit https://www.soc-neuro-onc.org/.
