With contributions from women from various corners our profession, the WINS series includes articles from: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Deborah L. Benzil, MD, FACS, FAANS<\/strong><span>, discussing the origins of WINS and how it shaped her career;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sheri Dewan, MD, FAANS<\/strong>, and <strong><span>Angela M. Richardson, MD, PhD, <\/span><\/strong>will discussing using social media in addressing gender disparities;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Disep I. Ojukwu, MD, MBA, MPH<\/strong>, and <strong><span>Laura S. McGuire, MD,<\/span><\/strong> writing about breaking barriers and the legacy of achievement of women in our profession;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Anahita Malvea<\/strong> and <strong><span>Alexandra Beaudry-Richard<\/span><\/strong> contrasting the myths and truths of women in neurosurgery from the perspective of medical students; and<\/li>\n<li><strong>Martina Stippler, MD, FAANS,<\/strong> discussing how forcing change leads to greater success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The first article \u201cWINS: Celebrating Women in Neurosurgery\u201d introduced the WINS series on the Blog, in the context of the 30th anniversary of WINS and was featured in late October. Various articles are to follow in the coming weeks.
