To foster partnership within the neurosurgical oncology community and beyond, we started a novel initiative called \u201cHeadlines.\u201d This program, a monthly live streamed webinar, brings together leaders in the brain and spine tumor community to give insight into their professional journeys and contributions, as well as their personal lives.<\/p>\n

In each program, Drs. Germano, Nahed and Pannullo host a group of panelists selected from the Section on Tumors Executive Committee. Each panelist introduces a paired “partner” who then presents one slide about their work. A second slide highlights their background, family, hobbies and interests and concludes with a series of true\/false questions provided by the featured guest, prompting audience participation \u2013 all with the goal of getting to know one another both in and outside of the field of neurosurgical oncology.<\/p>\n
