The Tumor Section in partnership with the brain tumor nonprofit organizations, StacheStrong and the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF), provided research grant funding to three new NREF (total of $150,000) proposals in 2021 dedicated to cutting edge brain tumor research. StacheStrong is a 501(c)3 not for profit charity focused on raising funds and awareness for brain cancer research. SBTF is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for brain tumor patients and their families and to raise funds for brain tumor research so that a cure can be found.
