Our two tumor section symposia will highlight glioblastoma clinical trials and radiosurgery equipoise when assessing brain tumors. Sessions are titled, \u201cTipping the scale: Towards positive trials to treat glioblastoma\u201d and \u201cTipping the scale: where does neurosurgery have clinical equipoise with radiosurgery or systemic therapy?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Glioblastoma speakers will address topics ranging from model limitations from pre-clinical data to lessons learned from failed clinical trials. Radiosurgery speakers will address treatment considerations for cranial pathologies, including solitary brain metastases, glomus tumors and small meningiomas\/schwanommas. <\/p>\n<p>We hope to have a diverse and informative session for the April 2020 program in Boston.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2020 AANS Tumor Section scientific program was developed to mirror the AANS theme of The World of Neurosurgery.
