In an era of rising health care costs, patient access to comprehensive neuro-oncological care, biomedical innovation challenges and the rising crisis of physician burnout, the Section on Tumors leadership continues to address these issues and much more.\u00a0<em>What Matters<\/em>\u00a0is to address these critically important issues and much more through the strengths of collaboration, education and solidarity. It is quite fitting that the Tumor Section, established in the Spring of 1984, is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the 2024 AANS Annual Meeting, paving the road to advance the discipline to new heights.
