Along these lines, we designed two scientific tumor sessions to continue our quest.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, September 11, the <em>High-Grade Glioma Surgery: Challenges and New Frontiers<\/em> will focus on the challenges of surgical resection of deep-seated high-grade gliomas, pre-surgical optimization, maintaining quality of life and functional balance in this patient population. This will be followed by \u201c<em>Novel <\/em><em>Pr<\/em><em>ospectives in <\/em><em>L<\/em><em>ow <\/em><em>G<\/em><em>rade <\/em><em>G<\/em><em>lioma<\/em><em> M<\/em><em>anagement<\/em>\u201d where we will review and discuss updates in low-grade glioma management at initial diagnosis and at recurrence. Surgical, radiotherapy and systemic treatment considerations will be presented.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, September 12, the <em>Innovation Driven by Neurosurgeons in Glioma <\/em><em>Tr<\/em><em>ials<\/em> session will focus on opportunities\/strategies for neurosurgeons to be involved in and lead early-stage glioma clinical trials. Phase III, micro-dialysis and CSF biomarker studies will be discussed in this session. This will be followed by<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>New frontiers for Recurrent Neuro-Endocrine Tumors<\/em>\u201d where we will review and discuss the multidisciplinary management in recurrent neuroendrocrine tumors. Surgical, radiotherapy, medical and novel treatment paradigms will be discussed.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss out on all other tumor related offerings including practical courses, luncheon seminars, guidelines sessions, and sunrise science!
