The research subcommittee has developed programs to inspire neurosurgeons to be innovators by participating in translational research. We have helped develop interactive sessions to guide early career neurosurgeon-scientists in grant writing, laboratory science and working with the FDA.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Our sub-committee worked with the Tumor Symposium Committee to create three breakout sessions for early career neurosurgeons<\/strong> focused on three areas of interest in translational neurosurgical oncology.
