This course, directed by Ryan Kitagawa, MD, FAANS, and Jack Jallo, MD, PhD, FAANS, covers a significant breadth of the neurotrauma field and critical care emphasizing practical, as well as complex case management issues.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Friday is Neurotrauma and Neurocritical Care for the Practicing Neurosurgeon Course, \u00a0directed by P.B. Raksin, MD, FAANS. This course will cover the latest in the management of traumatic brain and spine injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Friday, neurotrauma presentations will be made at the Global Symposium.<\/p>\n<p>The Neurotrauma Section Scientific Session will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023, and will include the Marmarou Lecture and WINS Keynote Lecturer Shelly Timmons, MD, PhD, FAANS. Resident Awards presentations will be made for the Charles Tator Spinal Cord Injury Resident Research Award, Natus Neurotrauma Award,\u00a0 Natus Neurocritical Care Award and the 2023 Chuck Noll lecture to be delivered by Nick Theodore MD, MS, FAANS<\/p>\n<p>Neurotrauma abstracts will also be presented at the Young Neurosurgeons Research Forum during the Monday, April 24 abstract session, and featured in the Plenary Sessions.\u00a0\u00a0We will also be featuring a Critical Care Neurosurgery Community Session on Monday April 24, featuring hot-topics in critical care, debates, as well as leadership and socio-economic topics.
