Planning for the 2021 Tumor Satellite Symposium, tentatively to be held in Austin, Texas, has been completed. There will be four general sessions, to include invited talks by recognized experts in spinal oncology, brain tumor microenvironment, clinical research by neurosurgeons, and management of tumor recurrence. These invited presentations will be followed by an abstract-driven program with both oral and poster presentations. Additionally, there will be a series of luncheon and afternoon breakout sessions that will be more practical in nature. A keynote lecture will be given by Jennifer Esposito, who is Vice President at Magic Leap, an augmented reality and spatial computing company at the forefront of using AR technology to transform health care. Finally, there will be a special symposium devoted to the career of Ed Laws, MD, FAANS(L), that will feature talks by his colleagues and trainees.

Please, visit the Tumor Section website to obtain additional details regarding invited speakers and abstract submissions.
