The theme of the 2020 Annual Meeting is Evolution and Revolution in the Healthcare Ecosystem: Becoming Frontiers. It offers the opportunity to discuss technical and technological as well as social and economic changes affecting the way we deliver care to our patients. The current need for new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, to compensate for the constant changes in our frontier horizon will be explored in the meeting. Special sessions include expert debates, hot topics and video sessions.
The NASBS meeting also features Dueling Dissections with experts demonstrating both open and endoscopic surgical approaches through cadaveric dissection. Faculty for this program will also present 3-D anatomy followed by pertinent diagnostic imaging of the area. There will be also a competition section where multidisciplinary teams from various institutions will be challenged with complex skull base cases.
