Editor’s Corner

In this issue, we transition to an all online format for the AANS/CNS Section on Neurotrauma and Critical Care biannual newsletter. With this new format, we anticipate easier access to our content and, hence, a larger audience. The theme of the upcoming CNS meeting is Age of Reason and in this newsletter we discuss “reasonable” strategies for patient treatment, including middle meningeal artery embolization for chronic subdural hematoma and cerebral microdialysis as a component of multimodality monitoring for severe TBI. As always, the opinions of the authors are their own and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the JSNTCC. In addition, we have an update on the progress of Think First and a recap of the success of the neurotrauma section offerings at the 2018 CNS Annual meeting, plus a preview of CNS 2019 meeting offerings. I hope you enjoy the issue! Let us know what you think of the new format, Laura.Ngwenya@uc.edu and remember to follow us on twitter! @AANSCNStrauma
